Malice's second album, originally released in 1987, was one of the more noteworthy releases from Los Angeles' metal scene that year. They very much straddled the line between hard rock and metal, and their heavily-European-influenced style elicited many comparisons to Judas Priest.

Max Norman (Ozzy, Y&T, Lynch Mob, Savatage, Armored Saint), produced, engineered and mixed the album. Backing vocals on the tracks "License to Kill" and "Chain Gang Woman" were provided by several high profile friends, including Dave Mustaine and Dave Ellefson of Megadeth and Black 'n Blue's Jaime St. James, Tommy Thayer and Jeff Warner.

Touring for the album included support stints for Alice Cooper, W.A.S.P. and Motörhead, among others. The band would go on to produce a follow-up EP before calling it quits.
